- Paramotor Trike Training: Does not require running or carrying.

Orientation Course (Basic Paragliding) (7 Days)

This is for you if you have no experience in Paragliding. The basic training for any aerosport is of prime importance. If the basic training is done right, the entire process of learning and individual flying becomes exciting, fun, and absolutely safe. This also ensures that each launch, flight and landing is consistently safe and methodical. This will include:

1. Basic theory (flying, airmanship, meteorology, rules & regulations and safety procedures).

2. Introduction to Paraglider (parts, handling, opening, packing and safety)

3. Ground handling (layout, inflation and control)

4. Launch (layout, inflation, control and winch launch)

5. Flight (control, pattern, in-air planning, airmanship, radio communication)

6. Landing (orientation, pattern, approach and landing)

Depending on the performance and the learning graph of an individual, this training may be shortened or lengthened. The instructor’s decision in this case will be final. Please remember, safety is paramount.

* The performance of anyone who has had an earlier experience of Paragliding will be checked on the ground and will be decided by the instructor if the person needs to undergo the Basic Paragliding course or can directly start the Basic Paramotoring Course.

Basic Paramotoring Course (7 Days)

The real fun begins here because this is where you start your dream journey to powered flight. Once the motor is added, you’ll be flying a machine that is as good as an aircraft. Hence, along with fun, it is important to take learning to the next level. This will include:

1. Theory (engine theory, rules & regs, rules of the air, legality, airmanship, meteorology and safety procedures).

2. Introduction to Paramotor (introduction to motor, trike, fueling/defueling, ground inspection and safety protocols)

3. Ground handling (layout, inflation under power, control of glider with power)

4. Launch (layout, inflation under power, control and safe launching)

5. Flight (take off, climb, pattern, airmanship, radio communication)

6. Landing (planning, orientation, safe approach, flare out and touch down)

Advance Paramotoring Course (5 Days)

This course is designed for pilots who aim to enhance their skills to the next level. This course will grant them the knowledge, skill level and confidence to take the sport to the professional level. This will include:

1. Advance Theory (engine theory, GPS, aviation charts and procedures, rules & regs, ATC, airfield layouts, rules of the air, legality of long-distance flying, airmanship, meteorology and safety procedures).

2. Introduction to Cross Country Flying (route planning, map reading, GPS, wind patterns, weather, fuel planning, off-base landings and safety protocols).

3. Introduction to advanced manoeuvres (thermalling, cruising, advanced maneuvers and handling in-flight emergencies).

Refresher Paramotoring Course (3 Days)

If there is a gap of more than 60 days after one has completed the Basic Paramotoring Course, the individual's performance (theory, ground handling and flying) will be checked on the ground. If found satisfactory, one could directly start the advanced paramotoring course. However, if it is found that the individual requires to refresh skills, it is recommended that the individual undergo this course.
