Frequently Asked Questions

GFZ Flying Club is a dedicated aero sports flying school and club at Go Fly Zone airfield, Shahpura (Jaipur), where enthusiasts can systematically train to become hobby pilots on aero-sports aircraft.

The club operates from Go Fly Zone Airfield near Shahpura, which is on the Delhi–Jaipur highway, easily accessible from Jaipur city, Delhi NCR and North India. Moreover you can easily find it on any road navigation app including Google Maps and Google Earth.

GFZ Flying Club is where students stop dreaming about flying and actually do it. We’re not a commercial pilot academy — we’re all about real, hands‑on flying for passion and adventure. You train on aero‑sports aircraft at our own private airfield, taking the controls yourself instead of sitting through quick tourist rides. Every session is designed to build real skill, real confidence, and real freedom in the sky. If you’ve ever looked up and thought, “One day, I want to fly,” GFZ is where that day finally becomes real — no age limits, no work or career pressure, just pure flying.

Training is conducted on aero sports platforms such as powered paraglider trikes, powered parachutes, microlight and light sport aircraft, and motor gliders, depending on the course and weather.

No previous flying experience is needed. Every student pilot begins with clear ground briefings, essential safety training, and guided demonstration flights to build a strong foundation. Once you’re confident and meet the required standards, you progress toward solo or independent flying under the club’s training rules — a smooth, step‑by‑step path to becoming a capable recreational pilot.

The primary focus is structured hobby‑pilot training; introductory and demonstration flights are used to familiarize you with different aircraft types before you choose your training path or ownership plan.

Membership is reserved for individuals who actively participate in flying. Since the club is built around hands‑on aviation, those who do not fly are generally not eligible for membership.

Non‑members may access the airfield and use club facilities with their own aircraft, subject to higher usage rates and a refundable security deposit as outlined in the current club policy.

Membership isn’t required while you’re undergoing training. Once you complete your training, you’ll have the option to join the club as a member. If you choose not to take membership, you can still operate your own aircraft from the airfield, but this will involve higher usage rates and a higher security deposit in line with the club’s current policy.
